Bio
Katerina (Kat) Ioannides is a political strategist and fundraiser with a decade of experience at the intersection of politics and technology. She currently works at the leading technology provider for progressive campaigns nonprofits and serves as Finance Director for California Women’s List.
Kat previously served as Deputy Director of Western U.S. Finance for the Harris–Walz presidential campaign, where she executed 63 fundraisers across nine states and helped raise $143 million as part of a historic $2 billion national operation.
Prior to that, she spent four years at ActBlue, where she managed Western accounts and helped scale digital fundraising for hundreds of campaigns and progressive organizations. Her work included launching the platform’s first statewide partnership with the California Democratic Party, designing and leading a campaign finance bootcamp that trained more than 250 candidates and staff, and driving growth in complex compliance environments through product-driven, systems-based solutions.
Earlier in her career, Kat managed a historic California Assembly campaign that flipped a Republican-held district and outraised an incumbent four-to-one. She later led organizing efforts for Senator Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign across Los Angeles and Orange County. She has advised state caucuses and national organizations, including Flip the West, the Wisconsin Assembly Democrats, and the Utah House Democrats, and has experience spanning both chambers of the California Legislature and early-stage technology startups.
Based in Los Angeles, Kat is active in the city’s running and fitness community, organizing race-day activations and community runs with local creators, athletes, and wellness brands. She placed 3rd in her age division and 8th overall among women at the 2026 Los Angeles Half Marathon. She enjoys reading and running.
