Katerina (Kat) Ioannides is a political strategist and fundraiser with a decade of experience at the intersection of politics and technology. She currently works at the leading technology provider for Democratic campaigns and nonprofits, and serves as Finance Director for California Women’s List.
Previously, Kat served as Deputy Director of Western U.S. Finance for the Harris-Walz presidential campaign, where she helped execute 63 fundraisers across nine states, raising $143 million and contributing to a record-breaking $2 billion fundraising operation. She also spent three years at ActBlue, where she managed Western accounts and scaled digital fundraising for hundreds of campaigns and causes. While there, she launched the platform’s first statewide partnership with the California Democratic Party, created a campaign finance bootcamp that trained over 250 candidates and staff, and drove record market growth in complex compliance jurisdictions through product-first solutions.
Earlier in her career, Kat managed a historic assembly race that flipped a Republican district by five points and outraised an incumbent 4:1. She later served as Organizing Director for Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign in Los Angeles and Orange County. She's also consulted for state caucuses and national organizations, including Flip The West, the Wisconsin Assembly Democrats, and the Utah House Democrats, and previously worked in both chambers of the California Legislature. Before transitioning into politics, she worked in early-stage tech start-ups.
Kat lives in Los Angeles with her fiancée and enjoys teaching yoga, reading, and running in her free time.
